I particularly remember watching his first movie: The Internship

Damn, how much I loved Billy.

Since I had been low for the past few days, hence, thought of watching something funny.

Starting the Vince Vaughn comedy movies list with my all-time favorite.  Let me tell you, Vince worked as a writer and producer as well on this movie. Billy (Vince Vaughn), an old-school salesman and Nick (Owen Wilson) get laid off.

Billy decides to work for Google despite without having any sort of technology knowledge. They both got to secure internships with the Internet behemoth and went out to Silicon Valley.

Billy and Nick, who are despised by the majority of their fellow interns, band up with the rest of the misfit “Nooglers” to complete a series of competitive team challenges.

2. Freaky (2020)

The Butcher’s supernatural blade leads him and Millie to miraculously exchange bodies. The terrified girl finds she only has 24 hours to reclaim her identity before she is eternally transformed into a middle-aged lunatic.

3. Unfinished Business (2015)

My second favorite movie among Vince Vaughn’s funny movies. Dan Trunkman (Vince Vaughn) is fed up with playing second fiddle to his unpleasant employer (Sienna Miller).

He leaves and starts his own mineral sales company. He’s accompanied by a retired associate (Tom Wilkinson) and a bumbling sales candidate (Dave Franco). 

A good transaction is in sight after a year and a half of battle, but thanks to Dan’s ex-boss, it immediately dissolves. 

Dan and his team go to Germany, determined to rescue the transaction, only to face a series of bizarre hurdles.

4. Delivery Man (2013)

David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) is a friendly slacker who drives a delivery truck for his family’s business. And he is satisfied with a life of mediocrity. 

When he found out that he is the biological father of over 500 children, many of whom are suing to uncover his identity. He attempted to take responsibility for his acts. 

He found some of his descendants and became engaged in their lives. When David’s fiancée reveals her pregnancy, she maintains a low level of anticipation.

5. The Dilemma (2011)

Ronny (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Kevin James) are partners in a car design business and have been friends for a long time. They’re working on a presentation for a dream project that would help them start their firm.

Ronny then notices Nick’s wife out with another guy. While investigating the suspected affair, he discovers Nick has his own secrets. Ronny is worried about what would happen if the truth comes out as the presentation approaches.

7. The Break-Up (2006)

Who can ever forget this Vince Vaughn funny movie? The famous duo of Vince and Jennifer.

Gary (Vince Vaughn) and  Brooke (Jennifer Aniston) decide to end their relationship. But none of them wants to leave their shared condo. When a long  series of underhanded efforts fails to persuade Brooke or Gary to change their minds, the only option is to become antagonistic roommates.

8. Old School (2003)

Attorney Mitch (Luke Wilson) believes his life has come crashing down after learning that his girlfriend (Juliette Lewis) has been engaging in group sex. 

He relocates to a new location, which happens to be near a college campus. Frank (Will Ferrell) and Beanie (Vince Vaughn), two of Mitch’s best pals, begin hanging out at his house. 

Eventually turning it into a crazy party pad, much to the chagrin of the college’s dean, Gordon “Cheese” Pritchard (Jeremy Piven).

This Vince Vaughn movie is considered a masterpiece. Also, one of his initial works. David Starsky (Ben Stiller) is a high-strung workaholic.

When a drug dealer’s body is discovered on a nearby beach, Starsky and Hutch pursue the leads to Reese Feldman, a serial criminal (Vince Vaughn). 

But the mismatched cops keep failing to capture the shifty Feldman, who is organizing his greatest drug trafficking operation.

10. North Hollywood (2021)

His blue-collar father, Oliver (Vince Vaughn), believes it’s a pipe dream. Oliver wants Michael to either acquire a college education and work in a more traditional field. 

Will Michael be able to fulfill his dreams?  Or go with the road taken? I am sure you will eventually find out.

Conclusion

Many claim that Vince does not have the main lead charm. But for me, he always caught my attention. 

Whether he acted as the supporting character or as the lead, he never disappointed his audience. And what I love the most about him is his selection of comic movies.
