Scottie Pippen is an American champ former NBA basketball player. He has won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls and has played a total of 17 sessions in the NBA.

Early Life

Scottie Pippen was born, in Hamburg, Arkansas, on September 25, 1965. His father was Ethel and his Mother Preston Pippen. He has 11 older siblings and he is the tallest among all. All though everyone in his family was taller. 

His father worked in a paper mill until he suffered from a heart attack that paralyzed his right side and affected his speech.

He was passionate about playing basketball from his early age.

Pippen went to Hamburg High School, where he started playing basketball. He was discovered by his school basketball coach. Where he started playing for his college University of Central Arkansas.

Career

In 1987, Scottie Pippen was picked up for the NBA draft by Seattle Supersonics. During that year he made his NBA debut against the Philadelphia 76ers

During that season he played 73 games and started 56 and scored 14.4 points per game on average. He performed tremendously in his game and improved his skills in every game.

That helped him make his debut in the NBA All-Star Team. He started all the 82 games he has appeared in and scored 17.8 points per game.

Due to Pippen’s effort, the team went to the playoffs but got defeated in Eastern Conference Semifinals.

When Jordon returned in the 1995-96 season, he made a strong team with two-time champion Dennis Rodman. The Bulls team made a strong team with three-star players. And they made a record.

The Team won 72 games and lost 10. It became the record in the NBA at that time.

Scottie Pippen got married to Karen McCollum in 1988. They had a son Antron, they got divorced in 1990.

He then got married to Larsa Younan in 1997 and got divorced in 2018. They together have four children.
