They released an album called “The Tambourine Man,” which was a commercial hit but due to a scene in the music video advocating for the use of drugs, the band was accused of it. Although, they denied the allegations.

They came back with a bang! Their third album “Fifth Dimension” was released in 1966. Which was an epic hit. The group was later disbanded due to his change in behavior towards the band and the controlling nature towards the creative direction of the band.

He met Stephen Stills at a party in California and soon the two started meeting informally and jamming together. Later, they were joined by Graham Nash, who left the commercially successful group “the Hollies” just to play with Crosby and Stills.

The first album was an immediate hit. In 1969, Neil Young joined the group and with him, they recorded the album Déjà Vu, which reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200. In 1971, David released his first solo album,” If I Could Only Remember My Name,” Crosby & Nash released four studio albums and two live albums including “Another Stoney Evening”.

David Crosby married Jan dance at the age of 45 in the year 1987. He had a son named James Raymond, in 1962 with Celia Crawford Ferguson who was placed for adoption and reunited with him as an adult.
