His real name is Timothy Ferriss. He was born in East Hampton, New York, US on July 20, 1977. Tim was born premature but no one has thought he will become so successful. 

He studies at St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire. And in 2000, he graduated from Princeton University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian studies.

After his graduation, he worked as a sales executive for a data storage company. 

He was sexually abused at the age of two, which he had recently revealed in his podcast.

Career

He started working as a sales executive as mentioned earlier. In 2001, he started his company called BrainQuicken. A Nutritional supplement-based business. He later sold this company to a London-based private equity firm and now changed to “BodyQuick”. 

He then wrote his Book “The 4-Hour Work Week”. In which he has started his life journey and experience. This book has become a major hit among youngsters around the world.

He has been an adviser and angel investor to startups. Startups such as Evernote, Stumbleupon, Shopify, DailyBurn, TaskRabbit, and many more…

Ferriss also launched an audiobook publishing venture in 2013. Where the first book he published was Vagabounding and followed by Ego is the Enemy and The Obstacle is the Way by Ryan Holiday.
