NBA Forward Miles Bridges Arrested In Los Angeles On Suspicion Of Domestic Violence

Bridges surrendered on Tuesday after an alleged violent confrontation

Miles Bridges, a basketball player, was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles on a felony warrant.

Officer Matthew Cruz, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, confirmed to The Times that a 24-year-old man named Miles Bridges was arrested on a warrant on Wednesday in West L.A.

However, Cruz was unable to confirm the warrant, additional information about the case, or whether the person arrested was an NBA player.

Bridges was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence, according to TMZ.

According to the website, Bridges turned himself in following an alleged physical altercation on Tuesday.

Bridges was arrested at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, according to Los Angeles County jail records.

According to court records, he was released on $130,000 bail. On July 20, he is scheduled to face trial.

Other than the felony status, jail records did not specify the nature of the suspected crime.

Bridges plays for the Charlotte Hornets as a forward.

He appeared in 80 games for the 2021-22 season and will be a restricted free agent when the NBA’s free agency period begins Thursday afternoon, the league said.
