Who is Juan Williams? 

Juan Williams is a Panamanian-American author, journalist, and political analyst for Fox News. He is best known for writing for several newspapers, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal

He has been published in several magazines, including Time and The Atlantic Monthly

He has worked for a White House Correspondent and National Correspondent as an editorial writer. He represents the democratic political party.

He has written several books, including Eyes on the Prize: America’s Civil Rights Years, 1954–1965, and Black Farmers in America.

Early Life

Juan Williams’s real name is Juan Antonio Williams. He was born on 10, April 1954, in Colón, Panama. He is the son of Alma Géraldine and Rogelio L. Williams. His mother was from Panama and his father was from Nicaragua. 

Juan stated that he legally emigrated from Panama to the United State through a banana boat, with his mother and two siblings. He was four years old at that time. 

Williams received a scholarship to attend  Oakwood Friends School in New York. He was very active on school days. He was captain of the basketball, baseball, and cross country, also clerk at student and editor of the school newspaper.

Williams attended Haverford College, graduating with a degree BA in Philosophy.

Career

Juan Williams initiated his career by joining Washington Post as a writer. He worked as a writer for 23 years as a political columnist covering political campaigns.

Williams joined National Public Radio and Hosted the show “Talk of The Nation”. He worked there for 10 years. Later he was terminated for misleading remarks against Muslims. 

After his termination from National Public radio. He has signed a 3-year contract with Fox News. In 1997, he joined the Fox News channel, which was a huge success in his career. He worked there as a news activator and political analyst. 

Then he started appearing in several TV shows, including The Five, Special Report with Bret Baier, and FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace

He also appeared in The O’Reilly Factor. Williams has written more than six books including, My Soul Looks Back in Wonder and Eyes on the Prize: America’s Civil Rights Years, 1954–1965.

In July 1978 Juan Williams got married to Susan Delise. They together have one daughter, Rae, and Two sons, Raphael (“Raffi”) and Antonio (“Tony”).
