Behzinga’s real name is Ethan Leigh Payne, he was born on June 20, 1995, London, Upton Park, England.
He had the most horrible upbringing because his biological father left the family the moment he found out Ethan’s mother, Ruth Payne, was pregnant.
Behzinga’s mother remarried when he was just six months old, and his stepfather stayed for twelve years. His stepfather eventually became engaged in drug addiction and dramatically escalated his debt. He has been nurtured solely by his mother since then.
He struggled in class just as much as he did at home. After an argument in the schoolyard, he was suspended for a whole week while attending secondary school at Marshalls Park Academy in East London.

He posted his debut video to his channel in February 2012. Intitially, he mostly focused on video game commentary while playing major titles such as FIFA, Call of Duty, and Forza Rally.
In August 2013, he launched his secondary channel, Beh2inga. On this channel, he released even more game broadcasts, including series such as F1 Race Stars and a slew of GTA 5 content.
His life was dramatically transformed in the fall of that year when he was invited to join a voice hangout with Simon, KSI, Tobi, and Josh after the four of them became infatuated with watching him stream on YouTube.
It was Behzinga’s idea for the five of them to form a supergroup and call themselves Sidemen.
As Simon performed as KSI‘s Sideman and Tobi acted as Josh‘s Sideman, all of the content creators began to gain popularity.
With this new strategy in place, they all started recording and playing GTA 5 together over the next two weeks. Eventually, some technical challenges arose, which was how Vikkstar123 joined the group, with Harry joining in early 2014.

In October 2020, Behzinga appeared in the three-part YouTube Originals documentary series “How to Be Behzinga,” which chronicled his battle with depression and his journey to run the London Marathon to contribute to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
He confessed that he had previously struggled with alcoholism and had considered suicide, but that with the help of his fellow Sidemen members, he was able to overcome his difficulties.
